Find a Therapist

Shanon Harlow, Psy.D.

Licensed Clinical Psychologist

My Areas of Interest:

Some of the most frequent presenting issues I deal with in treatment include anxiety, OCD and related symptoms, narcissism, as well as interpersonal and relationship concerns.   I enjoy working with individuals including members of the LGBTQ population to address relationship and family issues, improve communication, enhance connection, and problem-solve more effectively.  I am passionate about helping those experiencing infertility find ways to feel empowered on their journey.  I have a special interest in working with therapists to manage their life stressors and symptoms, as therapists needs support too!

My Style and Approach to Therapy:

I consider myself to be engaging, energetic, genuine, and someone who develops strong working relationships with clients.  I strive to learn more about what clients want from me throughout therapy in order to best meet their needs.  My approach to feedback is thoughtful and involves checking in with clients to determine when and how much feedback to provide.  I want clients to feel supported, understood, and empowered to change!  I am loyal and committed to helping them achieve their goals.  I look forward to meeting you to determine if my style is what you are looking for in a therapist.  If I am not the best fit for you, I would be happy to refer you to another provider who will best meet your needs.
