My Approach to Therapy
I'm so glad you're here and considering taking steps towards healing and becoming the best version of yourself. Even though this new chapter of life may feel scary and overwhelming, it's important that you remember you are not alone. You're also not your depression, anxiety, or any other label that may be thrown at you. You are a unique person with needs, wants, and values.
I enjoy working with families and teens struggling with eating disorders, life transitions, building self confidence, and communication issues. The world can throw a lot of information at you, so my goal is to help parents develop an understanding of their teen's eating disorder and how to best support them in their journey to recovery. For families I work with, communication is key! I'm a firm believer in the saying "clear is kind" and aim to help families voice their needs in a compassionate way in order to problem solve together.
My goal is to help you embrace the chaos and unknown of life changes by building up your confidence and being fully present in your own life. I value incorporating creativity and humor into sessions and aim to find unique ways to use your passions as a tool for healing. All are welcome in my therapy space.
