My Approach to Therapy
My approach to therapy focuses first on authenticity and collaboration, and I believe people can be happiest when they are engaging authentically with the world around them. In session, it is my intention to show up as my authentic self and collaboratively create a space where you can do the same. I believe that you are the expert on your own life and experiences, and that through thoughtful questioning, purposeful reflection, and evidence based tools and techniques, we can work together to align your most authentic self with your most realistic self.
I have experience working with both adolescents and adults on a diversity of issues and am a trauma-informed clinician. My goal is to utilize the relationship we build together as a safe space for you and the things you may be struggling with, while simultaneously helping to guide and empower you in developing the tools to take on life’s challenges.
