My Approach To Therapy

_____

I approach therapy with a genuine, authentic, non-judgmental attitude, striving to create a safe space for clients. I specifically practice Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), working collaboratively with clients to utilize their unique strengths to work through current challenges. SFBT is ideal for:

  • Working through a specific life challenge (i.e. starting college/a new job, getting married, social anxiety, divorce, etc.)

  • Relationship challenges

  • Stress management

  • Addiction recovery maintenance

  • Self-esteem concerns

  • Clients who are motivated to make changes and appreciate structure, but don't necessarily want to commit to long-term therapy

  • Crisis management

  • Trauma

My goal is to utilize the therapeutic relationship to help clients feel supported and understood, while simultaneously empowering clients to realize their own strength and capacity for change.
